This Bravia monster offers you full 1080p resolution, providing a crisp image every time. You can plug in as many as four HDMI devices, too. Some other novel features: the Bravia's picture freeze and sleep timer; 178 different viewing angles; two 10-watt speakers; dynamic contrast of 50,000 to 1; and the TV is also ENERGY STAR 3.0 approved and certified.
Every Bravia I've seen so far of this model is a dark glossy black, so it's definitely intended to be a contemporary / futuristic kind of appearance. And of course, the dark color works well in a room where you'll likely keep the lights dim anyway (to watch your favorite programs). It's a bit pricier than similar sized HDTVs, but the extra features are well worth it and make this a good buy.
