LG 42” 42LB5D

The 42" LG 42LB5D has many features that others would not normally have. The fact that they also have great picture quality doesn't hurt either. This television has a 5ms pixel response time - which is incredibly fast and impressive. After a few moments of customization the colors will look perfect and the sharp picture will keep your eyes glued to the picture all night.

It has all the important inputs - which are located on the back and sides and are easy to get to. It also has a USP port on the front of the television - which gives you the ability to attach your digital camera or music device so that you can watch or listen and store the things you love.
It supports HDMI CEC (consumer electronics control) or SimpLink. This means that you can use one remote to control any home theatre devices that are compatible with CEC. The devices can also control one another when connected to an HDMI cable. This means that when you hook up your CEC DVD and turn it on your television will automatically turn itself to the input it works with. That saves us time and we love that!

The only downfall to this almost perfect television is the menu screen. It seems that some manufacturers don't put much thought into these and fail to realize how important they are to us. They didn't put much time into this menu. Not only is it hard to read - but everything seems to be scattered. It may take you awhile to find the exact thing you need.

You can have the 42LB5D for a good $1600. Because there is only one flaw that we were able to find we think that the price is reasonable. It has all the great features (plus some), a great design that will look great in any home, and it gives you an amazing experience with its great picture quality.
