Samsung UN46B6000 1080p LCD HDTVSamsung has shown that it's got the high-definition TV game down just about perfect with its new 1080p LCD HDTV. This unit comes decked out complete with a TiVo high-def digital video recorder.

The screen is a spacious 46 inches and features 120h technology. This 120hz gives the consumer clear motion and frame transitions. Some of the features that have been upgraded since its predecessor include a contrast ratio of 100,000:1 dynamic contrast, DLNA certified connectivity, more powerful speakers, a better sub woofer, and Media 2.0 features which let you access content from Flickr and Yahoo.

The display offers you more than two million pixels and ten-bit processing. It also boasts SRS TruSurround.

Even the appearance is sleek and blends well with most living-room décor. Some other features you might love: cold cathode fluorescent lamp, two component video inputs, USB 2.0, and connectivity which allows you to add a DVD player, Blu-Ray, PC, camcorder, and much more.

There's not much you'll find lacking with Samsung's new offering. It is rather large as far as the height and width go, but it's also slim, so you should have plenty of space. Highly recommended model!

22" Vizio VO22LFHDTV 1080p Widescreen LCD HDTV

Vizio VO22LFHDTV LCD HDTVThe new 22 inch Vizio V-22LFHDTV has somehow gotten this reputation as a poor man's HD television set (for one thing, because it's much cheaper than many other sets). However, it should not be underestimated. Although it obviously lacks the features of the ultra-high end set, it still is rather feature-rich. It's a full 1080p yet in the size of a PC monitor (In fact, some buyers use it for both).

Its size is what makes it great as a dual-purpose video device. At 22 inches, it's big enough to watch, but small enough to use for your computer work.

Let's talk about the TV technology. This is an LCD television, sporting 1920 by 1080 progressive resolution. It offers a .248mm dot pitch and an integrated ATSC / NTSC / QAM tuner. It will dazzle your eyes with 16.7 million colors, far more than you'll find in many models this size. Its contrast ratio is a respectable 1000:1, and more respectable when you boost it to 5000:1 in dynamic mode. Its viwing angle is 160 degrees vertically and 170 degrees horizontally.

Part TV and part computer monitor, the V022LFHDTV is all affordable and all high-tech.
