Pioneer DV-410V DVD playerThe Pioneer DV-410V is a DVD player that does exactly what you expect from it. And of course a bit more, considering that it seems that DVD is starting to lose ground against the BluRay since the system seems to have now been voted as the winner in the battle for a new video player.

Although that fight may have been in vain if consumers choose to stick with DVD regardless of any new innovations. But Pioneer seems to be hedging its bets and sticking with new DVD products, at least for the time being.

The Pioneer DV-410V is a DVD player has a 1080p HDMI output and thus the best output quality - regardless of the source material.

USB host (in front) In addition, the DV-410V offers a high-speed USB input on the front that allows you to play music and video films, based on a USB memory stick - the system supports the standard ' Movie playback files on USB. You can create your own playlists and content of the memory sticks in order to enjoy your choice that you want.

In addition, your digital photos in high resolution JPEG format, while simultaneously listening to music.

The Virtual Surround Sound feature of DV-410V allows true 5.1-channel surround sound over just 2 speakers play. As you are watching a DVD, you can with their normal stereo speakers the full, realistic 3D space sound.

This Sharp model has a 1.080p/24 Hz signal output, an HDMI 1.3 output and the possibility of Dolby TrueHD in a PCM signal with up to 7.1 channels to convert. The BDP Aquos has a quick-start drive, for those with an impatient nature, and an output of up to 1.080i but only on Blu-ray discs.

Sharp's elegantly and simple-optics are very good quality. However, glossy black elements of the casing are seemingly easily scratched. The device's display is too small and offers too little information. The front panel is clean and functional, as well as the Blu-ray/DVD controls on the front of the unit, but lacking a standby and eject button.

The Aquos is a very good player, the wiring is very accurate, the power supply section is relatively expensive and also the drive unit leaves is a quality unit. Overall score in relation to the price class is excellent.

The Sony RDR-HX750 DVD recorder has a standard 360-GB hard drive, given its relatively low price this is an excellent feature, there is also a HDMI output, increasing the digital picture and sound transfer to a suitable projector.

The recorder burns both DVD-R and DVD-RW and DVD + R and DVD + RW blanks. In addition, it supports double-layer blanks. One big drawback is the lack of an electronic program guide (EPG). This is a good value for money item. Only the EPG is missing.
